What to Pack
The lodge supplies everything including great rain gear – Helly Hansen bib pants, Grunden Jackets with hood and XTRATUF rain boots.
All you need to bring are your clothes, toiletries, any medications, a book (although we have a small library in lounge) and a camera. Soft duffel style luggage is best for the planes. Please try to limit it to 25 lbs. (or less) per person.
When packing think about clothes for the boat and then clothes for the lodge. Keep it simple. If your boat clothes get soaked we can put them in a dryer. Also, the mornings can be chilly so thick warm socks are great.
For the Boat, you should bring:
2 pair polarized sunglasses (for sun and wind and to protect eyes while fishing), hat, layered clothes for cool mornings and windy afternoons on the water, fleece jacket for under rain jacket (which is supplied), sweater, warm socks (2 or 3 pairs), gloves (for cold mornings), shorts and t-shirts for warm weather, sandals with the toes closed or holey soles/crocs which are good for the boat and docks, fishing license (you can buy at lodge or before you leave), camera(s), and sunscreen.
For the lodge, you should bring:
Toiletries, any needed medications, shirts (not fancy), pants (not fancy), shoes, book.
