For over 100 years, the place known as Good Hope Cannery has been perched atop this horseshoe shaped bit of seclusion. From the start Good Hope has been in the business of big fish, evolving from an authentic 19th century west coast cannery to an intimate and luxurious sport fishing lodge where a small group of avid fishermen catch some of the finest big game trophy Chinook and prize Coho in the world. Our guests fish Inlet or ocean, take their catch home or release it back to the waters, go kayaking, and wildlife or whale-watching.

With a maximum occupancy of 32, our guests enjoy unparalleled service from our staff of 30 along with dining experiences unlike anything in Rivers Inlet. Whatever they catch, guests always take back indelible memories of one of the planet’s most generous and pristine coastlines, a rare, true and touching experience of the natural world.
